I would appreciate any comments or :+fav:s :)

An unconventional domestic animal portrait photograph. Not cropped and unedited. The eyes are centered and the tail heads for the border of the photo. The picture was taken at about 45 degrees above the cat. One of the greatest captures I've taken. I love this photo.

I wouldn't like for you to use this photo without my written permission. If you would like to use it, just ask, I won't say no. It would be nice if you gave a link to the final work as well. It helps strengthen the community in my opinion :)

Temporarily increased Fullview size for eye competition :)

I love it.. I see why you this is one of your favorites. I'm not a big fan of the centered composition though, have you tried cropping it? That might make it twice as awesome, in my opinion

You know, to tell you the truth, I'm not a fan of centered composition either. I have a good understanding of how the rule of thirds works, and I usually tend to stick to those rules, but sometimes I believe that breaking that rule can come to your advantage.

What I should have done was take the photo from a bit farther away, to give me more cropping space, but sadly, this is the photo as it was scanned from film, and in truth, I enjoy the centered eyes in this case, it really makes it all the more powerful don't you think?

Anyway thank you for your comment! :D I like it when someone actually critiques work on DA, very few people do. :)
