A short summary on my summer vacation: I wish we never had a vacation. Yes, it's that sad. Staying at home all the time can get boring at some point. On the few occasions that I've been out with my friends, all we did was either bowl or eat. The few times I saw Rana made up for it though

And in a week or so, this vacation will be history, so that's good I guess.
My music collection expanded... Placebo and Breaking Benjamin have new albums, so I've been drowning my ears with their "art" so to speak. I downloaded lots of other nondescript music. I couldn't be bothered listing the songs, but some were good, some sucked.
Reading has been something to fill my time, however. I'm a slow reader though, I can't pass 1page/2mins, so that kind of stunts me in that field. I finished "Apocalypse 2012". That was a good book. Now I'm convinced we're all gonna die in 3 years. Nothing new there. Then I went on to read Stephen King's "Gerald's Game" taking Nado's advice, and I must say, that book was freaky, yet pretty cool. I enjoyed it to the extent that it would allow me to, and I didn't put it down till I was finished. That took about a week, but I'm not complaining. While reading it, Rana started reading the Twilight series. Where I'm slow, Rana excels

She reads at least 4 times faster than I can manage, and she finished the first book in 1 day. After a bit of convincing of hers on my part, she managed to get me to agree to read "Twilight" after "Gerald's Game." So I went on to read it, expecting something emo or something that was not "guy material." Apparently, I was wrong.
I loved "Twilight," it was slightly romantic, but for the most part, it was realistic, thrilling, and out of this world at the same time. That factor gave it an eerie quality making it worth the read. I must admit the style of writing wasn't so great, it was very blunt and too direct, it didn't make me think for myself, it just laid everything out there, but it was Meyer's first book, so I'm not complaining. Right before finishing "Twilight," I bought the other 3 books of the Saga. Now I'm reading "New Moon" which is the second book in the Saga. It takes a pretty depressing turn, but it portrays some very realistic emotions, and I'm beginning to like Meyer's style at this point.
Other than that, all I can say is SUSHI!
Peace,
Chris
